Anastasia Tamanna Eyeshadow Palette (DressYourFace) Review and Tutorial

Hello loves this is my review on the NEW! Anastasia Tamanna Eyeshadow Palette which is currently in stores as of right now. Its also limited edition, so once the stock runs out there will be no more it out there except on ebay of course
This is very versatile because it features neutrals and colors for everyones taste. The colors included in this palette are suitable for people who are just starting out with makeup and like experimenting with colors. The colors are also very fall festive and could be used in the springtime as well as summer. The other thing I love about this palette is the pigmentation. It is so pigmented especially the shimmer colors , but the mattes are also great as well. Did I forget to mention that there 4 mattes and 6 shimmer-satin shades this palette

The color are very warmed-toned, very suitable for all skin shades. The awesome thing about this palette is that it only costs $29 (very well within my budget). So you budget-beauties out there can take advantage of the affordability of this palette.
If I was to rate this palette I would give it a 9/10 and I think you guys should hurry out and go get yourselves one before it sells out!!

Here is a video of a tutorial I did with this palette on Youtube. Feel free to subscribe to my Youtube Channel for more videos

Review: NYX Macaroon Lipsticks: Lip Swatches

Nyx Cosmetics came out with a total of 12 New lipsticks called the macaroons for this spring. The colors are really vivid and daring.
BLUE VELVET: An electric blue color

LAVENDER

ROSE
A lavender Pink with hints of blue: Might be a MAC dupe for Snob

PISTACHIO:
Is a minty Green

VIOLET:
Described as a royal Purple but comes off as blue-tone purple

ORANGE BLOSSOM:
 Bright Pastel Orange

From most of the videos I've watched on the video some of the colors where described as pasty and over-creamy. These colors are very opaque and and vivid, so please apply with caution (LOL). Some of the wearable colors are; Rose, Lavender, and Violet. A lipliner is definitely needed when wearing these colors as the come off a little vibrant on the face, so a lipliner is definitely needed to tone it down

Pros:
  • Very Affordable: Only cost $5.99 +ULTA Beauty stores (currently sold out at nyxcosmetics.com)
  • Very Opaque: Color really packs a punch
  • Long Lasting: Lasts about 4 hours for a satin finish lipstick

Cons:
  • Flimsy Packaging: Lipstick goes down on its own when twisted up
  • A little hard to work with so take your time
  • Some colors are pasty: e.g Orange Blossom
Leave your comments down below and let me know if you have tried out the lipsticks and what you think about them.

Kiss Aqua Beauty Balm Review

Hello Ladies and Gents, welcome back to my blog, I have a review on the Kiss Aqua Beauty Balm. This BB Cream is catered towards men and women of color. Its also made for people who have dark spots, hyperpigmentation, oily and acne-prone skin. So if you have all or some of these, then you fit the criteria. What is so amazing about this BB cream, is the immense coverage it provides. This could be your one step go-to product to include in your daily makeup routine.

I find that this product will would be fabulous for people on the go, who don't have time to put a primer and concealer on everyday.  I find this product not time consuming, its very light-weight, it gives a you air-brushed look while maintaining a natural glow on the face. I would say this bb cream is more of a semi-matte to dewy finish product. After 4 hours I find myself dusting my face with an oil-absorbing powder which I didn't need to apply in the beginning, which really tells you how awesome this product actually is.

This product retails between $6.99 -7.99 at your local Korean-owned beauty supply store. This BB Cream promises to deliver and it definitely delivers.
Other claims  that this bb cream holds:

  • Nourishes and Protects Skin
  • Evens uneven skin tone after continual use
  • Its oil-free
  • Its Vegan/Cruelty-free

Nigerian OOTD and Green Smokey Eye Tutorial Feat. Urban Decay Ammo Palette

Hey Guys, this is a new tutorial and outfit of the day featuring Greens. This video was created to show my love for my country, Nigeria. I think this is an easy tutorial because the steps are quite easy to follow with simple eye shadows that you have at home.

I been quite playing in my Urban Decay Ammo Eye shadow and I must say am in love with how pigmented and easy blending these eye shadows are and how they work nice with any look. I got these on a steal at hautelook.com, a site where you can find high-end brand of clothing, housewares and of course makeup. The shadows I used was oil slick in the inner tear duct and crease and I mildew all over the lid.

I also used the coastal scents 26 Shadow and blusher palette for the blending my crease and transition color.
On the cheeks I used NYX's Blush in Silky Rose, a nice Pinky satin color that is suitable for all skin types and it is very build-able for any type of look.
Then I finished it off with NYX's Soft Matte Lip cream in Abu Dhabi for a touch of a neutral pink lip.
